The ideal candidate will possess strong customer relationship management skills, extensive experience in financial services, and a solid background in dealership finance. This role involves managing loan processes, credit analysis, and contract negotiations to ensure a seamless financing experience for our customers. The Automotive Finance Manager will play a key role in driving sales through effective upselling and providing exceptional customer service, all while maintaining compliance with industry regulations such as TILA. This position offers an opportunity to lead the dealership's finance department with professionalism and integrity. Responsibilities Manage the entire loan process from application to approval, ensuring timely and accurate loan processing. Conduct credit analysis to determine customer eligibility and appropriate financing options. Negotiate terms and contracts with customers, ensuring compliance with legal standards Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to foster repeat business and referrals. Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, insurance, and other dealership offerings to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability. Utilize financial software for title processing, contract creation, and documentation management. Perform basic math calculations accurately for deal structuring and payment calculations. Assist customers in understanding financing options, terms, and obligations through clear communication and excellent customer service. Collaborate with sales teams to optimize deal closing strategies and improve overall dealership performance. Stay informed about industry trends, credit laws, and dealership best practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Experience Proven experience as a Finance Manager within an automotive dealership Strong background in automobile sales, credit analysis, and loan processing procedures. Familiarity with financial software systems used for title processing, contract management, and credit reporting. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and customer relationship management. Knowledge of legal requirements such as TILA regulations related to consumer credit transactions. Excellent math skills including 10 key typing proficiency for accurate data entry and calculations. Experience working with dealership contracts, finance agreements, and title processing is highly desirable. Prior dealership experience is preferred; candidates should possess a strong understanding of automotive sales processes combined with financial expertise.
