Job Summary A growing organization in the industrial facilities and infrastructure construction sector is seeking a Director of Finance for a direct hire opportunity in Glendale, CA. This management-level finance leadership role is ideal for an experienced corporate finance professional who excels at financial planning, executive reporting, strategic analysis, and cross-functional leadership. The Director of Finance will work closely with senior leadership to improve financial transparency, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen financial performance across the organization and its subsidiaries. Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, and capital planning across the organization and subsidiaries.
• Prepare executive and board-level financial reporting, including KPI analysis, ROI analysis, financial trends, and business performance insights.
• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, process improvements, and financial decision-making.
• Manage financial oversight for large-scale projects, including budget tracking, forecasting, profitability analysis, and variance reporting.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles while improving financial transparency, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional accountability.
• Support internal audits, financial controls, and continuous improvement initiatives related to finance processes and reporting. Compensation and Benefits
• Salary range: $190,000 to $210,000 per year.
• Direct hire opportunity. Required Qualifications and Skills
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Manage executive financial reporting, KPI analysis, ROI modeling, and financial performance reviews.
• Oversee cash flow management, capital planning, and project-based financial analysis.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, business performance, and financial decision support.
• Management-level finance leadership experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or a related finance function.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Experience managing large budgets and supporting senior executives with financial insights and recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, capital planning, financial controls, and performance metrics.
• Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex financial information clearly to executive audiences.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Corporate finance background strongly preferred.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial facilities, engineering, or another project-based industry preferred.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, internal audits, or process improvement initiatives preferred.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI or Cognos TM1 preferred.
