• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accurate, timely GAAP reporting, and keep the GL and reconciliations clean and well documented Support the SEC reporting team with schedules, maintain SOX controls, and serve as a key contact for internal and external auditors Oversee inventory and cost accounting activity, partnering with operations on material, labor, and overhead performance Support the rollout of new systems and standardized processes, and find ways to streamline accounting across sites Coach and develop accounting staff while building strong partnerships across finance, operations, and supply chain Looking for: 5+ years of accounting experience, including required manufacturing experience Strong GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency, and strong Excel and reporting skills Experience in any of the following areas welcomed: SOX and public-company reporting ERP implementations, integrations, or system standardization CAS and government-contract accounting Standard costing and inventory valuation Multi-site or post-acquisition accounting integration A bit about us:•We are a publicly traded design, engineering, and manufacturing company with advanced facilities across the country, including Long Beach.
