Responsibilities Lead day-to-day accounting operations, managing workflow, priorities, and deadlines across a team of three staff accountants. Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, including journal entry review, reconciliations, accruals, and cutoff. Oversee bank and cash activity, including daily bank review, payment processing, and weekly cash flow reporting and forecasting. Maintain the chart of accounts and general ledger master data in Acumatica, ensuring consistent structure and data integrity. Direct inventory and cost accounting, including standard costs, landed cost allocation, and purchase price variance analysis. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of seven years of progressive accounting experience, including close, journal entries, and reconciliations. At least three years directly managing or overseeing accounting staff, including work assignment, review, and performance support. Strong knowledge of GAAP with proven experience owning a chart of accounts and general ledger in an ERP system. Preferred Experience in consumer products, distribution, manufacturing, or another inventory-based business. Background in inventory and cost accounting, including COGS, standard costs, and landed cost analysis. Familiarity with Acumatica, Velixo, or comparable ERP and financial reporting tools.
