full-time Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing, newly public manufacturing company to identify a Division Accounting Manager for their Longmont, CO team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company at a pivotal stage of growth following a recent merger and public listing. This role will have significant ownership over accounting operations for multiple business units and will partner closely with operational and finance leadership. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of GAAP accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Supervisory/people management experience Strong cost accounting experience, including: Inventory accounting and valuation Product costing Manufacturing variances COGS and margin analysis Percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting experience Experience with long-term contracts, revenue recognition, and EAC/ETC forecasting ERP experience - Epicor is a plus Advanced Excel skills Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 Public company experience is a plus What You'll Own Lead the month-end and year-end close process Own the P&L and Balance Sheet for multiple business units Oversee cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing financial reporting Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and communicate results to leadership Manage inventory valuation, COGS, product costing, and profitability reporting Lead POC accounting and revenue recognition for complex, long-term contracts Review EAC/ETC forecasts and analyze changes in program profitability Oversee AP and AR functions Support budgeting and forecasting across manufacturing costs, inventory, and COGS Develop financial reporting, dashboards, and analysis for operational leadership Partner with Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance Support internal and external audits and maintain strong accounting controls Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and ERP functionality Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals Benefits Summary Competitive base salary Comprehensive medical, dental & vision insurance 401(k) and company contributions Paid time off and holidays Disability and life insurance benefits Additional employee wellness and financial benefits Opportunities for professional growth within a newly public, rapidly growing organization
