Brian Booth State Farm Agency | Vernon, CT & Springfield, MA Are You Ready to Stop Being Just a Top Producer and Start Building a Team of Them? We're not looking for someone who simply manages sales numbers. We're looking for someone who develops people, builds a winning culture, and makes everyone around them better. We're one of the top-producing State Farm agencies in the country, and we're growing! With an established, high-performing Connecticut office and an exciting expansion into Massachusetts, we're building a leadership team capable of developing exceptional sales professionals and driving long-term success. We believe great leaders don't just tell people what to do. They inspire people to want more, help them develop the skills to achieve it, and hold them accountable to the commitments they make. Your success isn't measured solely by what you personally produce. It's measured by the people you develop and the results your team achieves. What You'll Do Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of Sales Producers to high standards of activity, professionalism, and performance. Create a competitive, positive, and supportive culture where teammates challenge each other, celebrate success, and continuously improve. Help producers establish meaningful personal and professional goals that connect their daily efforts to what motivates them. Lead daily morning meetings that create energy, establish priorities, and prepare the team to win the day. Coach producers to create daily action plans, execute consistently, and take ownership of their results. Monitor sales activity, appointments, conversion rates, and production to identify opportunities for improvement before results suffer. Conduct regular one-on-one coaching, roleplaying, call reviews, and skill-development sessions. Develop producers' confidence in asking meaningful questions, uncovering client needs, and conducting effective insurance and financial services appointments. Hold team members accountable through clear expectations, constructive feedback, recognition, and difficult conversations when necessary. Lead by example through personal production, with an emphasis on meaningful life insurance, disability protection, and financial services opportunities. Partner with the Client Experience Manager to ensure sales producers consistently deliver exceptional client experiences. Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop future high-performing producers and potential leaders. Identify challenges, develop solutions, and take ownership of improving team performance without relying on the Agent to drive daily execution. Who Thrives Here? We're looking for someone who: Develops people. You take genuine pride in helping others grow, improve, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Leads by example. Your work ethic, attitude, professionalism, and consistency set the standard for your team. Creates motivation. You understand what drives each individual and help connect their personal ambitions to daily actions. Embraces accountability. You set clear expectations, follow up consistently, and aren't afraid to have difficult conversations. Is an effective coach. You don't simply tell people what they're doing wrong. You ask questions, teach skills, practice, and help them improve. Takes ownership. When activity or production is low, you identify why, develop a plan, and take action rather than make excuses. Thinks like a leader. You recognize that developing a productive team creates a greater impact than trying to do everything yourself. Is competitive. You love winning, but you get even greater satisfaction from seeing your entire team succeed. Is proactive and resourceful. You anticipate challenges, recognize opportunities, and take action without waiting for direction. Is coachable. You welcome feedback, embrace change, and continuously work to become a better leader. Has high standards. You believe consistent effort, preparation, meaningful conversations, and doing what's right for clients are non-negotiable. What Success Looks Like It's the middle of the month, and one of your producers is falling behind on activity and production. You don't wait until the end of the month to address it. You don't simply tell them to make more calls, and you don't take over their sales opportunities to make up the difference. You get curious. You sit down with them, ask questions, review their activity, and identify what's really holding them back. Together, you develop a specific plan, practice the skills they need, and establish clear expectations. You follow up, recognize progress, and hold them accountable to their commitments. Over time, that producer becomes more confident, consistent, and successful, not because you constantly pushed them, but because you helped them develop the habits and motivation to push themselves. Meanwhile, your team is conducting meaningful appointments, protecting more families, improving their skills, and consistently achieving its goals. That's the difference between managing salespeople and developing a team of winners. This Position Isn't for Everyone If you prefer being the top producer, avoiding difficult conversations, or waiting for the Agent to identify problems and tell you what to do, this probably isn't the right fit. But if you're someone who loves developing people, embraces accountability, takes pride in building a winning culture, and understands that your greatest success comes through the success of others, we'd love to meet you. We're building something special, and we're looking for leaders who can help take us to the next level. Ready to lead, develop others, and build a winning team?
