Accounting Manager/Office Manager

Job Description

The Accounting Manager / Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. This job is full time. Crew Chemicals provides specialty chemicals and chemical services for multiple industries. We are looking for an energetic professional who is looking to be apart of growing business. This individual can't mind wearing multiple hats as our team is very lean. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.
Responsibilities:
Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands Organize office operations and procedures Help manage company financials by recording invoices and payables in Quickbooks. Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time Provide general support to visitors Manage the Company phone line and speak to customers regarding orders and operations Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable and accounts receivable Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements Perform review and analysis of special projects and keep the management properly informed Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals and reviewing of industry publications Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events Design and implement filing systems Ensure filing systems are maintained and current Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory Handle customer inquiries and complaints Manage internal staff relations Maintain a safe and secure working environment Qualifications /
Requirements:
Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficient in MS Office Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
