Job Description

The City of Mound is hiring for a skilled government accountant to join us as our Accounting Manager! The Accounting Manager performs advanced technical accounting work in support of municipal financial operations. This position is responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciliation processes, completing complex accounting transactions, and assisting with financial reporting in accordance with governmental accounting standards and established internal controls. This role will also direct and manage other finance staff and support departmental process improvements.
