Manager of Corporate Accounting - 3 Month Contract Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close activities, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and consolidation support.
• Review sales, accounts receivable, cost of goods sold, and inventory reporting.
• Manage payment approvals and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Oversee sales tax filings and related compliance requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Support external audits and prepare required financial documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting initiatives as required. Qualifications
• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookups.
• Experience with inventory accounting is an asset.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
