2997514730-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Consolidated Precision Products is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead plant-level accounting for our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role oversees month-end close, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls. The Accounting Manager partners with operations to analyze production costs, drive variance analysis, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide decision-support reporting. You will lead a small accounting team, champion process improvements, and support audits while upholding CPP's culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Oversee plant-level general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting Manage cost accounting, standard costing, and inventory valuation for manufacturing operations Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics Conduct detailed variance and margin analysis to support operational decision-making Maintain and improve internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team Partner with operations and leadership on cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives Optimize use of ERP and accounting systems for accurate, timely data Present financial insights and recommendations to site and corporate leadership Required Skills Financial reporting Cost accounting Manufacturing accounting General ledger management Month-end close Budgeting and forecasting Variance analysis Inventory accounting Internal controls ERP/accounting systems
