Essential Functions Manage general ledger, financial close, and reporting activities. Ensure accuracy in inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing-related accounting. Oversee banking activity and administration, including account maintenance, user access and authority levels, payment processing, and serving as the primary point of contact for banking partners. Own the bank reconciliation process, ensuring all accounts are reconciled timely and accurately, with review and resolution of outstanding or aged items. Prepare, review, and maintain short- and long-term cash flow projections; analyze variances to forecast and communicate liquidity trends and risks to leadership. Lead the Accounts Payable team, including workload assignment, performance management, and development, while ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately, on time, and within policy. Serve as system owner and administrator for Esker, including workflow and approval configuration, user setup, exception and error resolution, vendor onboarding support, and driving adoption and automation improvements. Maintain and enforce internal controls across accounting, cash, and disbursement processes, including segregation of duties, payment authorization limits, and SOX compliance where applicable. Oversee audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting. Partner with operations, supply chain, and FP&A to align on business strategy and results. Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Hire, train, and develop accounting and AP staff, providing mentorship and feedback. Drive continuous improvement in accounting, cash management, and AP processes and systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred. 6-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Deep understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management. Experience with treasury and cash management activities, including bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting. Experience managing an Accounts Payable function and working with AP automation or invoice workflow platforms (Esker preferred). Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
