The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operation and work directly with ownership and management. We want more than someone who maintains the books. We're looking for an accounting leader who produces accurate financials, understands internal controls, embraces technology, identifies problems and improves processes. Automotive dealership experience is highly preferred—but not required. We are also interested in accomplished Controllers from other industries who are highly proficient with modern cloud-based accounting/ERP systems and have demonstrated the ability to quickly master new technology. Responsibilities Manage month-end close and financial reporting Oversee GL, AP/AR, cash and bank reconciliations Manage floorplan, vehicle inventory, CIT and schedule reconciliations Oversee payroll and accounting controls Prepare/review Stellantis factory financial statements Supervise and develop accounting staff Identify discrepancies and correct root causes Improve accounting processes and utilization of Tekion Provide ownership with accurate, timely financial information Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager or equivalent experience Strong month-end close and financial statement experience Excellent understanding of GL, reconciliations, AP/AR and internal controls Strong technology and cloud-based accounting/ERP experience Leadership and problem-solving ability Automotive dealership experience is highly preferred. Stellantis/CDJR experience is a major plus. Tekion Automotive Retail Cloud experience is highly valued , particularly experience with accounting, month-end close, financial statements, implementation or process improvement.
