Accounting Manager Mid America Precast is an employee-owned manufacturer of precast concrete products serving Missouri and surrounding states. Our products are used in the construction of schools, parking structures, hospitals, stadiums, and other large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our employee-owned team. This position will oversee key accounting, financial reporting, human resources, and employee benefit functions while supporting the overall financial operations of the company. Key Responsibilities Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Human Resources departments. Maintain and manage the company's general ledger . Prepare accurate monthly and year-end financial statements for review by the company's outside accounting firm. Administer the company's 401(k) plan and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) . Manage company insurance accounts and related administrative responsibilities . Support the company's financial and administrative operations as needed. Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential financial and employee records. Communicate effectively with employees, management, outside accounting professionals, and benefit providers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field , with a major or significant coursework in accounting preferred. Previous accounting or financial management experience preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Proficiency with accounting and office software.
