To learn more, visit our website at hexagonagility.com. We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager that will report to the Director of Accounting. This position will be based out of our Salisbury, NC locations. Candidates should expect a fast-paced, growth environment and have experience with multi-site operations. We are making significant investments to transform ourselves into more of a data-driven company and this position will play a key supporting role in enhancing financial performance management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage month-end closing for sites and prepare weekly/monthly financial statements and other operation reports Support site leadership and cross-functional management teams with problem solving, analysis and commentary of drivers behind issues and variances to budget and forecasts Review weekly/monthly KPI data with site teams to understand trends and help analyze root causes Support the cost accounting functions as it pertains to inventory, costing, and ERP maintenance of the FleetCare locations Collaborate with local accounting teams and centralized AR/AP team supporting multi-location activities Assist with preparation and inputs to annual budget and periodic financial forecasts. Proactively identifies and implements policy, process, and system improvements to increase overall efficiency and accuracy while maintaining expected results. Assist with preparation of the yearly audits and physical inventory counts Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment and leading a team. Experienced user of larger ERP systems and financial reporting platforms. Strong business acumen and communications. Strong project management skills. Power user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI or similar. Professional Skills Qualifications Must be able to work across organization boundaries at all levels of the company to achieve site and corporate objectives. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve outstanding issues. Solid knowledge of US GAAP. Thorough understanding of Cost Accounting. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple jobs and adapt to a rapidly changing work environment with fluctuating priorities and tight deadlines. Highly self-motivated with ability to bring a high-level of energy to work. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment at a manufacturing location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Travel This position can require travel up to once a month to other business locations. Pay:
$110,000.00 - $126,000.00 per year
