Job Description

Nursing Organization is seeking a Regional Medicaid Supervisor This position is Full-time M-F with a competitive salary & benefits package The Regional Medicaid Supervisor manages and optimizes Medicaid application processes, Medicaid pending financial accounts, reimbursement workflows, and manages staff across a portfolio of Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). This role acts as the primary regional expert on state Medicaid guidelines, ensuring timely approvals, minimizing financial risk, and training facility-level Medicaid Financial Coordinators. Manage the end-to-end Medicaid application, renewal, and redetermination for residents across SNF locations. Track Medicaid pending accounts and aging balances Ensure strict adherence to state Medicaid regulations, payer timelines, and corporate financial policies. Serve as the primary regional liaison between the organization, resident families, and state/county Medicaid case workers to resolve delayed cases. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate facility-level Medicaid Coordinators within the region Conduct ongoing training and education regarding changing Medicaid policies, and electronic record
EXPERIENCE
SNF Medicaid expertise: 5+ years handling Medicaid eligibility, applications, renewals, redeterminations, and pending accounts in skilled nursing.
Medicaid financial management:
Experience reducing Medicaid pending balances, monitoring aging, resolving reimbursement issues.
Regulatory knowledge:
Strong understanding of state/federal Medicaid rules, LTC requirements, payer timelines, and MLTC programs.
Multi-site leadership:
Ability to oversee and support Medicaid Coordinators across multiple SNFs rather than managing only one facility.
Case resolution:
Experience working directly with residents/families, Medicaid caseworkers, counties/agencies, and internal billing/finance teams.
Training:
Ability to educate facility staff on Medicaid policy changes, eligibility requirements, and EHR/billing processes.
Regional mobility:
Willingness to travel regularly between assigned facilities.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
