Poseidon Systems has an immediate need for an accounting clerk / office manager. This full-time position will be based in our Victor, NY location reporting to the Controller and will perform accounting tasks, while supporting human resources and general administration tasks as required.

Responsibilities:

The accounting clerk / office manager will be an integral member of Poseidon's team. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Accounting Bank reconciliations Accounts payable/receivable data entry Generate financial reports Process employee expense reports Human resources Employee on-boarding and exit processing Payroll / 401k administration Benefits administration Administration (backup) Direct inbound calls / greet visitors Mail processing Events coordination Maintain office supplies

Requirements:

AS degree in Accounting or Business (with accounting focus) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Prior experience with Sage 50 (formerly Peachtree) accounting software or similar accounting software is desired Highly motivated and organized Maintains accurate and complete records (process oriented) Positive and friendly Strong communications and interpersonal skills
