Accounting Manager Location:
Circleville, Ohio Area Compensation:
$110,000 - $140,000 Base Salary + Great Benefits Join a Growing Organization with Strong Financial Leadership We are partnering with a well-established and growing organization in the Circleville, Ohio area to identify an experienced Accounting Manager . This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving process improvements across the finance function. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting, proven leadership experience, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with business leaders to support organizational growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development and accountability Coordinate year-end audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to senior leadership Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements Partner with operations and business leaders to drive financial performance and reporting accuracy Assist with special projects, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience managing month-end close and audit processes Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders across the organization What Our Client Offers Competitive base salary of $110,000 - $140,000 Performance-based incentive opportunities Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company contribution Generous PTO and holiday package Stable and growing business environment Opportunities for career advancement and leadership development Collaborative and team-oriented culture #LI-onsite #
