Job Description

Revenue Cycle & Financial Systems Manager / IT / Healthcare Gratiot, OH This role manages revenue cycle and financial/operational systems projects at a hospital and health system in east central Ohio, spanning project management, requirements definition, system selection and acquisition, implementation, and ongoing support across the full system life cycle. The manager also directly supervises daily operations of registration, scheduling, HIM, document imaging, and hospital and ambulatory billing system teams, and reports to the Director of IT Applications.
Schedule :
Full time, hybrid, onsite 50% of the time.
Compensation :
$95,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience. What You'll Do This role manages and participates directly in revenue cycle and financial/operational system projects, covering analysis, design, implementation, and support throughout the entire system life cycle, including requirements definition, system selection and acquisition, installation, training and documentation, troubleshooting, and technical support. The manager also directly supervises daily operations of the registration, scheduling, HIM, document imaging, and hospital and ambulatory billing teams, setting work schedules, monitoring performance, resolving technical and project issues, and educating staff. On the project side, this includes prioritizing team activities, ensuring integration of system configuration, assessing risk to project timelines, and preparing status reports for the Project Director. The manager applies Epic experience to team tasks and deliverables, ensures quality of deliverables in coordination with the Project Quality Control Team, and manages issues through to resolution, escalating where needed. Beyond day to day project work, this role provides technical leadership across IS and the broader enterprise, staying current on information systems direction and how it affects the organization. Responsibilities include coordinating analysis of current business functions for automation, supporting development of long range information system strategy, establishing and monitoring project quality standards, and collaborating with other project managers to provide integrated project management services across the organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years of project management experience 5 years of information systems experience Minimum 3 years of healthcare revenue cycle, financial and operational systems, and enterprise systems experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Project Experience managing system selection, acquisition, and implementation projects of varying size Experience with process redesign and process re-engineering methodologies Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Epic experience Experience in a hospital or health system IT environment Experience managing enterprise-wide integrated information system implementations Compensation and Benefits $95,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience Full benefits package To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
