Job Description

Accounting Manager Dayton, OH | On-site $100k- $120k The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting operations for a manufacturing organization, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and efficient processes. Responsibilities of Accounting Manager Prepare and review financial statements, including trial balances, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. The Accounting Manager will lead month-end, semi-annual, and year-end close. The Accounting Manager will manage tax activities and support audits. Strengthen internal controls and standardize/document accounting processes. Lead a team of 4-6 across AP, AR, Staff, and Senior Staff Accounting. Partner with site leadership to ensure consistent accounting practices across locations. Serve as a hands-on Accounting Manager focused on accuracy, process improvement, and accountability. Requirements of Accounting Manager Strong leadership skills and team management experience. Well-rounded accounting background. Manufacturing accounting experience required. Multi-site experience required. Strong financial reporting, controls, audit, and close experience. Proven ability to build structure and documentation where processes are not yet standardized. #
