About the
Role:
As a CBRE Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will oversee and lead a range of financial and reporting activities for a Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical client in West Point, PA. This is a hybrid role with about 2-3 days onsite but must be willing to be fully onsite at first as you train and get acclimated.
What You'll Do:
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. This can include work schedules, assign tasks, cross-training staff, set and tracking staff and department deadlines. Support client budgeting and forecasting and prepare clear reporting and insightful findings. Conduct financial and business studies and other duties as assigned by management. Perform detailed P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet analysis, identifying business trends, risks and opportunities, and areas for improvement. Participate in the research, development, and preparation of accounting policy and procedures, as required. Consult with management on financial policies, procedures, and applications. Ensure overall departmental priorities are being completed and all deadlines are met. Participate in projects, relating to pricing, new project cost & savings tracking, and long-term planning. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with
CBRE RISE
values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must hold strong relationship management and client interfacing. Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
