Finance & Insurance Specialist Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven Powersports and Marine Finance Specialist to lead our dealership's financing and insurance operations. In this role you will be responsible for assisting customers through the financing process, structuring deals, and ensuring compliance with all financial and insurance regulations. Your expertise will help maximize profitability while also focusing on delivering excellent customer service. - Run the F&I process by presenting financing options, insurance company referrals, and extended service terms to customers.
- Develop strong customer relationships by helping customers understand their financing options fully.
- Develop and present financing packages, ensuring transparency and compliance with regulations.
- Work collaboratively with lenders to secure competitive rates and terms
- Promote and sell extended service plans, warranties, and other F&I products
- Drive profitability by achieving F&I sales targets
- Analyze and monitor F&I performance and identify areas for improvement regularly
- Maintain a high standard of customer service
- Educate customers about their financing and insurance options with clarity
- Provide customers with updated finance and insurance option information
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with state and federal regulations
- Accurately prepare and submit financing paperwork
- Stay updated on industry trends, laws, and best practice
- Collaborate with sales and service to alight financing and sales strategies
- Accurately prepare and complete Secretary of State paperwork and collaborate with accounts payable.
- Utilize industry-specific software such as LightSpeedEvo for loan processing
- Upsell additional products like insurance policies, service contracts, and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability. Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in deal structuring, negotiation, and upselling techniques that drive sales growth.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems like LightSpeedEvo or comparable platforms.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a 5 ½ day a week work schedule (Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, Saturday 9am-3pm).
- Strong knowledge of financing, insurance products, and industry regulations.
- Proven experience in F&I within the automotive, marine, RV, or power sports industry.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred but not necessary. Pay Range and Benefits
Pay:
$19-25/ hour based on experience- Monthly commission based on F&I sales
- Potential sign on bonus! ( Subject to a 2 year employment agreement )
