VITA Service Coordinator - Finance Specialist - Full-Time Position Center for Community Resources Butler, PA 1 Position

Center for Community Resources is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to develop, implement, and coordinate all aspects of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program . This position will provide hands-on guidance and support to low-income households with tax preparation and assist eligible individuals and families in accessing the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). Develop, implement, and coordinate all aspects of the VITA program , providing low-income households with hands-on assistance in preparing and filing their taxes and accessing eligible Earned Income Tax Credits. Provide administrative and operational support to the Fiscal Department to ensure efficient and effective financial operations. CCR's mission is connecting people to services. And that's exactly what you'll be doing in this role.

Essential Functions:

Perform community outreach and marketing, to increase awareness of Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). Engage in activities to ensure adequate staffing of VITA site(s) with qualified volunteers. Coordinate the delivery of services to ensure compliance with

IRS VITA

site regulations. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and utilization requirements. Obtain and analyze data to measure program effectiveness . Provide support to the Fiscal Department as needed to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. Reinforce and support the mission of the agency. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday during daylight hours . During VITA tax season, the position will require occasional evening and weekend hours . No holiday work is required, and some flexibility in scheduling is available. The hourly salary range is $23.00-$27.00 per hour , depending on education and relevant experience. Some travel is required as part of the position. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the current IRS set rate.

Qualifications :

Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration. 0-2 years tax & fiscal experience. Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA Strong organization, time management and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage all volunteer staff Abilility to work independently

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration. 1-2 years tax & fiscal experience.
