As an Accounting Coordinator, you will play an important role in keeping the financial operations of The Bair Foundation and its affiliated companies accurate, organized, and financially sound. You'll manage financial data, prepare and analyze reports, support cash management, and help ensure the organization is prepared for audits and financial reporting. Your work provides the financial accuracy and insight leaders need to make informed decisions, manage resources responsibly, and support the mission of serving children and families.

Founded in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania in 1967, The Bair Foundation is a Christian non-profit ministry serving children and families. We have provided quality care and services to children, youth, and families through a myriad of effective community-based services. Today, The Bair Foundation provides services in 9 states, including Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. WHAT YOU'LL DO TO MAKE AN IMPACT
Provide Financial Clarity
Maintain accurate financial data and reporting that help leaders understand organizational performance and make informed decisions. Strengthen Financial Stewardship
Support cash management, reconciliations, investments, and fixed assets to help ensure resources are managed responsibly. Prepare for What's Ahead
Compile audit files, year-end work papers, and financial reports that support transparency and accountability. Turn Data into Insight
Analyze financial information and identify trends and significant changes that help inform business decisions. Support the Mission Behind the Numbers
Provide the accuracy and financial insight that help our teams use resources wisely and continue serving children and families.
WHAT YOU BRING
Education:
Associate's degree or above in Accounting (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
Experience working with financial data, reports, spreadsheets, reconciliations, or related accounting functions
Skills:
Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Technology:
Proficiency using a PC, including databases and spreadsheet software
Professionalism:
Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality
WHAT PUTS YOU AHEAD
Experience preparing financial reports or audit work papers Experience with bank statement reconciliations and cash management Familiarity with fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and asset tracking Ability to identify financial trends and communicate meaningful changes Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
