Join our Team! We are looking for a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting and Finance Specialist . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collections. This position requires strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to support our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, developing budgets, creating spreadsheets, and becoming a liaison with our accounts payable and receivable team. The Accounting Specialist must have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will coordinate activities and provide high-level accounting and administrative support to the executive and senior management. Prepares and oversees financial statements, reports, and budgets. Prepares and oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual status analyses of funds and expenditures. Analyze financial data and present findings to management. Provide assistance with budgeting and forecasting. Develop internal control procedures to ensure accuracy of financial information. Provide advice on accounting matters. Maintains adequate records of expenditures, funds, appropriations, and expenses, as well as of revenue collected and deposited. Maintains and/or oversees the maintenance of systems and controls necessary to provide accurate accounts of expenditures and budget balances. Coordinates the collection of information or the preparation of reports and compiles or supervises the compilation of data for reports. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality. Serves as a liaison with other departments on policies, procedures, and practices.
