Job Description

This internship is scheduled for May - August 2027. Come join our team!
Position Summary:
The purpose of this bank internship is to gain an understanding of everyday functions of a community bank through a hands on experience. Interns will obtain exposure to customer service, credit analysis, operations, compliance, and risk components of banking through a rotational and tailored training curriculum.
Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Assist in the processing of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Support the relationship management team by preparing reports and presentations as requested. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Help with the documentation and compliance processes for various banking products. Participate in team meetings, assist in departmental projects, represent the bank at community events. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and directing client to the appropriate departments. Collaborate with colleagues on daily operations and special projects.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Complies with the bank's Confidentiality and Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Policies.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Energetic, organized, and detailed skilled with today's technology.

Travel may be required to other bank office locations for bank meetings or requested training.
