Job Description

Financial Service Representative Accentra Credit Union Austin, MN Come join our team at Accentra Credit Union. Play a vital role in the financial success of our members. Our Financial Service Representative's primary goal is to acquire, retain, deepen and manage relationships with our members. "Simply Better Banking." Responsible for providing personalized and professional service to new and existing members while identifying and selling products and services that will meet their current and future financial needs. Perform miscellaneous other duties as apparent or as assigned. Always project a positive and friendly image for the credit union through interactions with members and co-workers. Familiar with BSA and OFAC requirements and follow required reporting duties. Essential Functions
  • Providing excellent customer service to our members.
  • Organized and knowledgeable with regards to following up on missing items and the coordination of loan documents.
  • Meet member expectations by answering general information request inquiries daily.
  • Process requests for membership enrollment and service existing member accounts daily.
  • Seeks out opportunities to enhance the members' financial lives by recognizing and referring additional credit union products.
  • Excel at multitasking.
  • Reinforce continuous collaboration and respectful communication between all departments by promoting strong, positive and productive working relationships through the commitment to the company's core values, vision and mission statements.
Competencies Education:
Associate degree (Preferred) or equivalent experience required
Cash Handling:
2 years Banking or Credit union: 1 year
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail, ability to plan, prioritize and work effectively and efficiently.
  • Must be friendly and able to represent the Credit Union in a professional and positive manner.
  • Competent with computer technology.
  • In depth knowledge of all credit union products and services.
