Radiology center seeking friendly, patient-centered, team-oriented Prior Authorization Specialist to join our auth team. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Radiology Prior Authorization Experience is required. Please do NOT apply if you do not have one year of Prior Authorization Experience in radiology. This is a day shift, onsite position: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7a-3:30pm) Total hours: 40

•Responsibilities include but are not limited to obtaining prior authorizations for imaging studies, handling insurance verifications, answering phone calls, scheduling patient studies, calling physician offices, following up with insurance companies on pending or denied authorizations, communicating with patients regarding their insurance status, authorization progress, and any related questions, and coordinating patient care with technologists and radiologists. Multi-tasking and service oriented skills a must.
