Roofing Field Rep - Insurance Claims Experience Required FIT Roofing & Construction - Plano / DFW, TX FIT Roofing & Construction is looking for an experienced roofing field rep who understands storm-damage claims and is comfortable getting on roofs. This is not an entry-level position . We are looking for someone who understands hail and wind damage, can confidently speak with homeowners, knows how to help initiate legitimate insurance claims, and has experience attending adjuster appointments. Our Fast-Track Pay Structure Our position is different from a traditional roofing sales role. Once the roof is approved, the insurance scope is received, and your file is complete, you are fully paid out for that job. You do not have to wait months for the roof to be built, depreciation to be released, or the entire job to collect before receiving your full Fast-Track payout. Payouts are every Friday. Company-generated opportunities are available, and reps can earn additional compensation on self-generated business. Exact compensation structure will be discussed during the interview. What You'll Do Run warm appointments generated by our canvassing team Knock and self-generate when appointments are not available Perform roof and property damage assessments Identify legitimate hail and wind damage Take required damage photos Complete a 10x10 hail test square Document collateral damage Get contingency agreements signed Help homeowners initiate insurance claims Enter all required information into our CRM Attend adjuster appointments Follow up until the carrier scope is received Submit the approved scope and complete file to FIT Let the homeowner know ownership will contact them regarding next steps Once your completed file is handed in, our backend takes over. What You Are NOT Responsible For You will not be responsible for: Writing supplements Ordering materials Scheduling crews Managing production Collecting depreciation Managing insurance paperwork after handoff Your job is to inspect, sign quality claims, attend adjuster appointments, get the scope, and turn in a complete file. What Makes a File Complete Before payout, FIT must have: Approved roof replacement Carrier scope Required damage photos 10x10 hail test square Collateral damage documentation when present Claim information Adjuster information Complete CRM notes and documentation Proper homeowner handoff Once everything is complete, you are fully paid out for the Fast-Track job on the next Friday payout. Weekly Expectations 3 signed contingencies per week: minimum expectation 4-5: target 6+: high performer We provide opportunities, but we are not looking for people who want to sit around waiting for leads. If your calendar is open, you should be creating business.
