The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and experience working with personal and commercial insurance products. This position will focus on helping new and existing customers with their insurance needs, preparing quotes, following up with prospects, and generating new business. We are looking for someone who is comfortable speaking with customers over the phone, building relationships, identifying coverage needs, and closing sales. Experience quoting Auto, Homeowners, Renters, and Commercial Insurance is highly preferred. Duties & Responsibilities Quote and sell Auto, Homeowners, Renters, and Commercial insurance policies Make outbound sales and follow-up calls to prospective customers and leads Answer incoming calls and assist customers with insurance-related questions Follow up on quotes and work to convert prospects into customers Identify opportunities to cross-sell and bundle insurance products Explain insurance coverages, deductibles, limits, and available options to customers Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Gather accurate customer information needed to prepare insurance quotes Maintain organized records of leads, quotes, follow-ups, and customer interactions Assist with general insurance and agency-related tasks as needed Meet individual sales and production goals Provide professional and friendly customer service Requirements Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License required Previous insurance sales, quoting, or agency experience preferred Sales experience and a strong ability to communicate with customers Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills Comfortable making outbound sales calls and following up with leads Ability to learn and work with multiple insurance carrier quoting systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Self-motivated and goal-oriented Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Basic computer and CRM skills Compensation Hourly base pay + commission This position provides the opportunity to earn additional income through sales commissions based on performance.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
