In this role, you will provide comprehensive advice to clients regarding property and casualty insurance, assess their risk profile, and develop customized insurance plans to meet their specific needs. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance principles, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Salary Range:
$35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary
+ Commission
+ Bonus Opportunities Mon-Fri Schedule Hands on Training Paid Time Off (PTO) Requirements Current P&C insurance license in the state of employment. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office. Self-motivated, relationship-focused, and adaptable. Responsibilities Responsibilities Policy sales & customization: Solicit and write new P&C policies, assess client needs and exposures, and recommend appropriate coverage options. Renewals & retention: Maintain relationships with existing clients, review coverage periodically, and secure renewals.
Cross-selling:
Identify opportunities to add complementary insurance products to client portfolios.
Client service:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and carriers, explaining policy terms, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
Risk assessment:
Educate clients on risk factors, advise on prevention, and help tailor coverage to their situation. Application & underwriting: Gather information for quotations, submit applications to carriers, and work with account managers or underwriters to complete coverage.
Claims support:
Assist clients through the claims process, coordinate with carriers, and help resolve issues.
Account management:
Maintain accurate records in agency management systems and CRM tools; track trends and report on business performance.
Premium collection:
Ensure timely premium payments and follow up on collections when necessary.
Carrier relations:
