The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of full-time experience and great customer service. The escrow officer will open, fund, balance and close escrow files as well as coordinate with sellers, buyers, lenders, and Realtors throughout the closing process. Your Specific duties will include preparing documents, clearing titles, ordering reports, disbursing funds for property expenses. You must also determine what legal deeds are needed to complete a transaction and ensure that all parties have properly signed and filed the necessary closing documents. Escrow Officer, Responsibilities Prepare escrow opening and closing documents Clear Titles Order beneficiary statements and payoff demands Manage disbursements Determine what type of legal deeds are necessary for each transaction and ensure the deed gets executed completely, neatly and correctly. Ensure Department of Real Estate compliance Balance trust funds Must be willing to train any assistants Must be a team player Must be coachable and always willing to learn Understand documentation such as mortgages, liens, easements, maps, contracts, title in order to verify factors legal description, ownership and or restrictions. Provide Excellent service to our Realtors, Buyers, Sellers, Lenders and walk-ins.
