General Summary:

The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for developing and managing commercial lending relationships within the Farmers Bank service area. The Officer is responsible for conducting risk analyses to determine that loans are both profitable for the bank and financially beneficial to its customers.

Major Duties & Responsibilites:

Interview loan applicants and analyze financial data Understand loan products and terms and make appropriate recommendations Monitor loan portfolio performance Provide general financial and banking advice Develop and maintain business relationships Remain informed on all bank policies and applicable lending laws

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:

Communicate in a clear and courteous manner. Demonstrate the ability to plan for daily department demands. Possess general computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet and word processing software. Complete daily responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner. Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, agricultural economics, or three years of related business experience required.
