Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Loan Coordinator to join our Commercial & Lending team. The Commercial Loan Coordinator serves as a critical operational partner to Relationship Managers, Credit Administration and Loan Operations by supporting the loan production process from initial customer interaction through closing and ongoing servicing coordination. This role ensures accuracy, responsiveness, and executional excellence across documentation, pipeline management, and client communication. The Commercial Loan Coordinator enables lenders to focus on relationship development and business generation while maintaining strong credit discipline, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service standards consistent with a high-performing community bank. Responsibilities Prepare loan request packages, renewals, extensions, and modifications for submission into underwriting. Coordinate collection of financial statements, tax returns, borrowing base reports, and other required borrower documentation. Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready loan files throughout the underwriting and closing process. Track lender pipelines and provide timely status updates on loan progress. Serve as a primary customer contact for documentation requests and loan processing updates. Coordinate closing logistics including borrower signatures, attorneys, title companies, insurance verification, and required third-party documentation. Work closely with Credit Administration and Loan Operations to ensure documentation accuracy prior to closing. Assist with portfolio monitoring by tracking financial reporting requirements, covenant compliance items, and annual review needs. Support timely completion of renewals, extensions, and modifications. Maintain accurate loan system uploads and document imaging standards. Assist with exception tracking and resolution. Ensure adherence to loan policy, regulatory expectations, and audit readiness standards. Support Relationship Managers in delivering consistent, responsive customer service aligned with bank expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. Performance Standards Completes loan processing tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Meets established turnaround times for document collection, data entry, and file preparation. Ensures all loan files comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. Communicates promptly and professionally with borrowers, loan officers, and internal departments. Maintains organized, complete, and up-to-date electronic and physical loan files. Prioritizes workload effectively to manage multiple deadlines and high-volume periods. Proactively identifies issues, missing documentation, or delays and escalates when necessary. Demonstrates strong teamwork by supporting loan officers, underwriters, and credit staff throughout the loan process. Protects confidential financial and personal information in accordance with company policies. Uses loan origination systems and document management platforms efficiently and accurately. Required 1-2 years of experience in loan processing, commercial banking, or a related administrative/financial role. Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn banking or loan origination systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Prior experience working specifically with commercial loan documentation. Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and documentation standards. Experience with loan origination software (LOS) or document management systems. Familiarity with financial statements and basic commercial credit terminology.

$60,000.00 per year
