I'm currently conducting a confidential search for an experienced Senior Loan Officer with a strong background in agricultural lending, commercial credit, and relationship development. Position Overview This opportunity is ideal for a motivated banking professional who enjoys building and managing high-value customer relationships while combining strong credit and underwriting skills with business development. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of approximately 30-40 customer relationships Develop and maintain complex agricultural and commercial lending relationships Focus on relationships with $1MM+ aggregate balances Generate new business while retaining and expanding existing relationships Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned customers Conduct annual renewals, pricing discussions, and term negotiations Partner with Credit, Operations, and other internal teams Monitor portfolio performance, utilization, and credit risk Collect and review financial statements and required documentation Maintain accurate pipeline, portfolio, and relationship activity Identify opportunities for additional financing and banking services Ideal Background 3-5+ years of credit and underwriting experience Strong agricultural lending background Proven business development and relationship management experience Strong understanding of commercial credit Ability to build relationships while maintaining strong credit quality Experience with loan documentation Self-motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial Excellent communication and customer relationship skills Leadership experience is a plus This is a confidential search.
