In this pivotal role, you will facilitate smooth and accurate escrow processes, ensuring all aspects of property transactions are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with exceptional customer service. Your expertise will help clients navigate the complexities of real estate closings, providing clarity and confidence at every step. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with legal documents, title records, and mapping tools, contributing to successful property transfers and client satisfaction. Duties Manage the escrow process from opening to closing, including document preparation, review, and finalization Conduct thorough title searches and review title records to verify ownership and identify any liens or encumbrances Research public records, legal descriptions, easements, rights-of-way, and other relevant documentation to ensure clear title transfer Utilize real estate transaction management software and mapping tools such as GIS to organize and process escrow data efficiently Prepare and review legal descriptions, title reports, and related documentation in compliance with underwriting guidelines and real estate law Communicate proactively with clients, agents, lenders, and attorneys to provide updates and address inquiries throughout the transaction Ensure adherence to all legal requirements and internal policies during title processing, underwriting, and closing procedures Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for document management and communication Experience with real estate law, title review, and title search procedures Familiarity with real estate documentation review including legal descriptions and easements Knowledge of public records research techniques for property history verification Skilled in using real estate transaction management software, GIS mapping software, and other relevant tools for title processing and mapping Strong understanding of right-of-way issues, title insurance requirements, and underwriting guidelines adherence Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach Previous law office experience or background in real estate law is highly desirable Join our team to play a vital role in facilitating seamless property transactions!
