Mortgage Loan Processor Are you the kind of person who loves checking things off a list, solving puzzles, and keeping everything perfectly organized? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters and teamwork is everything? If so, we re looking for you ! As a Mortgage Loan Processor , you ll play a critical role in turning loan applications into successful closings. You ll work closely with Loan Originators, Underwriters, and borrowers to make sure every loan file is complete, compliant, and ready to cross the finish line. 🔍 What You ll Do Every day brings something new, but here s how you ll make an impact: Review incoming loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance Verify borrower information, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate directly with borrowers and Loan Originators Order credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications, title work, insurance, and other required documentation Prepare and submit clean, organized loan files to Underwriting for approval Update loan systems based on underwriting decisions and loan status changes Communicate with customers regarding loan status, next steps, and timelines Track and follow up on outstanding conditions and documentation Perform thorough document audits prior to funding Resolve exceptions and conditions to keep loans moving forward Stay up to date on FHA, VA, and conventional loan guidelines and changes Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies Support the team with additional duties as needed 🎓 What You Bring to the Table Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of loan processing experience preferred Mortgage industry experience is a plus (but we re open to strong candidates!) Military education or experience may substitute for education or work experience 💡 Skills That Set You Apart Exceptional attention to detail-you catch what others miss Strong customer service mindset with clear, confident communication skills Solid understanding of real estate documentation, compliance, and loan policies Ability to manage multiple files, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines High integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence Comfortable working with change, problem-solving, and fast-paced workflows 💻 Tech & Tools Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Comfortable navigating loan systems and standard office equipment Quick to learn new software and process updates 🏢 Work Environment & Expectations Professional office environment with a moderate noise level Primarily sedentary role with occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs) Daily computer use (6-8 hours) Ability to work extended hours when needed Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential 🚀 Why This Role Rocks You ll be at the heart of the mortgage process-making a real impact on borrowers lives, sharpening your industry expertise, and working alongside a collaborative, driven team that values accuracy, integrity, and results.
