Loan Closer/Funder Company Description Spreo Capital is a non-bank real estate lender based in Los Angeles. We specialize in providing bridge, renovation, construction, and DSCR loan solutions for investors and developers of residential and commercial properties. Job Overview We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Closer/Funder to join our team. As a Closer/Funder, you will engage escrow officers/attorneys, title companies, prepare loan documents, and provide timely communication with all parties to ensure the accurate and timely closing of loans. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of loan processing procedures. Responsibilities Prepare closing loan documents. Review title insurance commitments. Review borrower entity documents. Verify loan data and settlement statements for accuracy. Prepare funding packages and coordinate with borrowers, client managers, loan officers, escrow officers, and attorneys. Coordinate delivery of payoff statements, mortgage verifications, property insurance policies, and other lender closing requirements. Collaborate with underwriters, client managers, and other team members to resolve closing-related issues. Post-close responsibilities include obtaining ALTA policies, recorded mortgages, insurance policies, and loan-servicing-related items. Experience Previous experience in loan closing or related roles. Familiarity with financial services industry practices and procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or discrepancies. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
