This Contract position is ideal for a detail-focused specialist who understands SBA lending guidelines, loan documentation, and closing coordination across multiple parties. Responsibilities:

Review closing files in detail to verify that required documents, title materials, lien searches, and supporting records are complete, accurate, and aligned with approved loan terms. Build and manage closing checklists to track outstanding conditions, follow up on missing items, and confirm readiness for settlement. Prepare and organize loan packages in accordance with SBA standards, regulatory expectations, and internal documentation requirements. Secure SBA approvals through E-Tran and produce authorization documents that reflect established credit terms and program guidelines. Draft and finalize loan documents using LaserPro, checking each file carefully for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before closing. Coordinate with borrowers, escrow and title partners, and insurance providers to keep the closing process on schedule and resolve documentation issues. Confirm that collateral documentation is properly recorded and that liens are perfected in the correct position to protect the bank's interest. Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders to address questions, identify discrepancies, and support smooth loan execution. 3+ years of experience in SBA closing, loan documentation, or a closely related loan servicing or administration function. Strong working knowledge of SBA eligibility standards, closing procedures, and program requirements. Hands-on experience using SBA One and E-Tran to support approvals and documentation workflows. Proficiency with LaserPro and the preparation of SBA-related loan forms and closing documents. Familiarity with title review, lien positioning, collateral documentation, and compliance considerations within commercial lending. High level of accuracy, organization, and follow-through when managing multiple files and deadlines. Sound judgment, strong problem-solving ability, and clear, detail-focused communication skills when working with clients and third-party partners. Experience with tools such as Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, and automated underwriting or banking support systems is preferred.
