Job Overview The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for the administration, processing, and reconciliation of our construction loans. This role serves as a key liaison between internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely funding, monitoring, and payoff of these loans. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Community First Bank's commitment to accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service. Some of what you'll do o Process the purchase of construction loans o Create and maintain loan records within the core software system o Initiate, process, prepare and submit wire transfer requests o Ensure all loan information is accurately entered, documented, and maintained o Manage the lifecycle of loan payoffs o Prepare letters, mailers and packages for loan documentation process o Maintain a comprehensive database of construction loan information and related activity o Perform routine quality control reviews and audits o Prepare and distribute bimonthly reporting, summarizing loan activity, performance metrics, and identified errors o Provide operational and administrative support to Mortgage Loan Processors throughout the loan life cycle Qualifications
  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in clerical, loan operations, data entry, or administrative role within the financial service industry
  • Basic understanding of consumer bookkeeping and accounting principles You'll love this job if you . . .

  • Have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Can handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Are able to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
  • Can demonstrate the ability to manage multiple proprieties and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Excel in organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Maintain a proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Have experience utilizing web-based applications and financial systems
