AFEX Mortgage is growing, and we're looking for a Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team! We're looking for someone with 9 months-1 year of experience in mortgage processing or underwriting who is organized, detail-oriented, and knows how to move quickly in a fast-paced environment. If you're someone who takes ownership of your files, follows up consistently, and understands that urgency matters in the mortgage industry , we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Process mortgage loan files from application through closing Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness Work closely with Loan Officers, Underwriters, borrowers, and other parties involved in the loan Request and follow up on outstanding documentation Monitor and clear loan conditions Keep files organized and moving forward toward closing Communicate updates and potential issues in a timely manner Manage multiple files and prioritize based on deadlines and closing dates Maintain accurate loan documentation and records Provide consistent follow-up throughout the loan process Qualifications 9 months-1 year of mortgage processing or underwriting experience Strong understanding of the mortgage loan process Excellent organizational skills Strong sense of urgency Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented and willing to collaborate with Loan Officers and Operations Ability to take ownership of assigned files from start to finish What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is driven, organized, accountable, and hungry to grow .
