Bankers' Bank is seeking an engaging, Mortgage Servicing Representative to join our team in the Mortgage department of our Madison, WI headquarters office. This position services mortgage loan portfolio including answering calls from borrowers and correspondent banks and processing payments for insurance and taxes.
Position Functions:
Servicing (75%) : Processes payments, payoffs, satisfactions and late notices. Disburse insurance and tax payments. Review new loans in MS for accuracy and send new loan packets to borrowers. Analyze escrow. Pay and balance property mortgage insurance (PMI) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) remittances. Daily and monthly balancing, reporting and close out. Assists with year-end closeout of MS. Investor reporting, remitting and reconciling. Review loan file documentation in document management software. Customer Service (20%): Answers calls from borrowers, correspondent banks, and third parties. Responds to faxes and emails. Administration (5%): Scan, index and file. Ideal candidates will possess a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) or relevant combination of experience and education sufficient to perform the job. 2+ years of experience of residential mortgage, 6 months with mortgage investor balancing experience, previous customer service/administrative support experience, and demonstrated working knowledge of current residential mortgage laws and regulations. experience providing outstanding professional customer service. Previous banking experience is a plus along with previous experience with mortgage investor balancing.
