Job Description

EmployPro Staffing is now hiring Yard Management Auditors for a leading warehouse operation.
  • PART TIME OPPORTUNITY
  • WEEKENDS ONLY

Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
Part-Time | Weekly Pay Available Shifts Guard 1: Friday night 10PM
  • 10AM | Saturday night 10PM
  • 10AM (24 hours a week) Guard 2: Saturday morning 10AM
  • 10PM | Sunday morning 10AM
  • 10PM (24 hours a week) Position Summary The Yard Management Auditor is a key member of the warehouse operations team, serving as the communication link between incoming truck drivers, yard switchers, and warehouse leadership.
This role is responsible for verifying trailer arrivals, directing inbound traffic, and helping maintain the safe and efficient flow of trailers throughout the facility. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment, we encourage you to apply! Job Responsibilities Welcome incoming carriers and verify trailer arrivals. Communicate trailer numbers to warehouse leadership using a two-way radio. Direct transport trucks and yard switchers to assigned dock doors and designated yard locations. Monitor facility access and verify shipping paperwork or trailer seals as required. Complete detailed shift handoffs to ensure seamless operations. Notify leadership before scheduled breaks and remain on duty until properly relieved. Assist with Yard Management System (YMS) data entry as technology is implemented. Maintain clear communication while following all warehouse safety procedures. Keep the Yard Control Center organized and operating efficiently. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, shipping/receiving, gatehouse operations, or a related field preferred. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively over a two-way radio. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn Yard Management Systems (YMS). Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stay organized and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
