Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our hotel during nighttime hours. This position involves performing essential front desk duties, managing guest relations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Night Auditor will be the first point of contact for guests during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service and support. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent guest services. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all supplies are stocked. Process payments and manage cash handling procedures accurately. Utilize multi-line phone systems to assist guests and manage incoming calls effectively. Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay. Skills Excellent phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems. Previous hotel experience, particularly in front desk or guest services roles is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests and staff alike.
