Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front desk team. This overnight position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while completing end-of-day financial reporting and system reconciliation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, maintains a calm and professional demeanor, and demonstrates strong attention to detail. The Night Auditor plays a key role in ensuring accurate daily revenue reporting, property security, and a smooth transition between shifts. Reliability, accountability, and professionalism are essential for success in this role. Duties Greet and assist guests with late-night check-ins and early-morning check-outs Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally Answer and direct phone calls, process reservations, and manage walk-ins Complete nightly audit procedures and end-of-day system rollover Reconcile daily revenue, room charges, payments, and cash drawer Review, research, and correct posting discrepancies Generate and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports Maintain accurate records and documentation Monitor property activity and conduct routine security walkthroughs Ensure lobby and front desk areas remain clean and organized Enforce hotel policies and procedures during overnight hours Communicate detailed pass-down notes to morning staff Qualifications Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience preferred Prior night audit or basic accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight Excellent customer service and communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality required Comfortable handling cash, credit card transactions, and financial reports Basic computer proficiency required (experience with PMS systems such as Cloudbeds a plus) Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays Join us as a Night Auditor and become an integral part of creating memorable experiences for our guests while showcasing your hospitality management expertise.
