As a Night Auditor, you'll be the friendly face guests see overnight, handling front desk duties while also balancing the hotel's daily financial records. This role requires someone comfortable working independently, staying alert through the overnight shift, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform nightly audit of front desk transactions, reconciling cash, credit card, and room charges Prepare and distribute daily reports for management review each morning Check guests in and out, and respond to guest requests or concerns overnight Answer phones and handle reservations for overnight and next-day arrivals Monitor hotel security, safety, and cleanliness of public areas overnight Troubleshoot basic guest issues and escalate as necessary Maintain accurate records and follow proper cash-handling and reporting procedures Ensure the lobby and front desk area are clean, organized, and guest-ready by shift's end Qualifications Previous night audit, front desk, or hotel experience preferred but not required Comfortable working alone overnight and staying alert throughout the shift Basic math and computer skills; experience with hotel PMS systems (preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Friendly, professional, and calm under pressure Reliable and punctual Able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Strong communication skills, both with guests and team members What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Employee hotel discounts (IHG brand travel perks) A quiet, independent work environment
