Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure smooth overnight operations at our hotel. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving late, handle financial reconciliations, and maintain the safety and security of the property during nighttime hours. Your enthusiasm for hospitality management and exceptional guest service will help create a welcoming environment that leaves a lasting positive impression. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hotel management while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Duties Greet and assist guests arriving during overnight hours, providing friendly and professional customer service through multi-line phone systems and front desk interactions Perform nightly financial audits by reconciling daily transactions, updating property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA, and preparing detailed reports for management Ensure guest safety by monitoring security cameras, conducting property inspections, and following hotel emergency procedures when necessary Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly with customer service problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively with multilingual or bilingual guests to enhance guest relations Maintain accurate records of all night audit activities, including incident reports, shift logs, and guest requests Support hotel operations by managing reservations using hospitality reservation systems and assisting with check-in/check-out processes as needed Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing multi-line phone systems to coordinate with staff or respond to guest needs efficiently Requirements Proven experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations, ideally with resort or hotel experience Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and effectively Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse clientele better Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is essential Excellent communication skills via phone and face-to-face interactions; comfortable managing multi-line phone systems and phone communication etiquette Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail Previous experience in night audit roles or similar positions within the hospitality industry is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for hospitality management makes a difference! Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
