This overnight position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and the accurate financial reporting for the hotel. Location:
Richmond Hill, GA Responsibilities:
Process daily reports, including arrivals, departures, and special requests, ensuring accuracy and preparing them for management. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously, assigning rooms and issuing keys. Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, providing solutions and ensuring follow-up for guest satisfaction. Process payments and transactions accurately, including room charges, cash, debit, and credit. Answer phone calls and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to track room readiness and address any issues. Safeguard guest information and handle confidential records with integrity. Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance the guest experience. Utilize creative reasoning to overcome guest objections and concerns.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service roles preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle stressful situations. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of the local Richmond Hill area is a plus. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
