Job Overview Join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Algonquin, IL, as a Night Auditor. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to manage overnight front desk operations, assist guests, complete the nightly audit, and maintain a safe and welcoming hotel environment. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while ensuring accurate financial records and a smooth transition to the morning shift. Duties Handle overnight guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest requests. Complete the nightly audit and verify daily room charges, payments, and financial transactions. Maintain accurate guest records and prepare daily reports for management. Answer phone calls and resolve guest concerns professionally. Monitor hotel security and report any unusual activity or emergencies. Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and presentable. Communicate important guest requests, maintenance issues, and shift updates to the morning staff. Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and Holiday Inn Express brand standards. Experience Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and basic computer skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle overnight responsibilities. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills. Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
