Compensation:
$18.00-$20.00, based on experience

Position Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours, ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests, and performing daily audit procedures to balance the hotel's financial records. This role combines front desk duties with light accounting tasks and customer service. It's ideal for a detail-oriented, reliable individual who enjoys working independently in a quiet, focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist guests during late check-ins and early check-outs Run nightly audit reports and reconcile daily revenue and transactions Prepare and distribute daily reports to management Monitor property security and respond to emergencies appropriately Complete end-of-day procedures for front desk operations Handle phone calls, reservations, and general guest inquiries Process payments, post charges, and ensure accurate billing Ensure the lobby and front desk areas are tidy and welcoming Communicate important information to the morning shift
Qualifications:
Previous front desk or hotel experience preferred, but not required Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus Familiarity with hotel PMS (Property Management System) software is preferred (training provided) Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and remain calm in a quiet overnight setting Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working night shifts regularly Ability to handle emergency situations in a composed and professional manner
Physical Requirements:
