This overnight position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently and providing exceptional guest service during late-night hours. The Night Auditor is responsible for managing front desk operations, assisting guests, and completing daily financial reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and a smooth transition between shifts. Key Responsibilities Guest Services Greet and check in/out guests in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, resolving issues with a high level of customer service Handle reservations via phone and ensure accurate data entry Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to fulfill guest needs Maintain proper phone etiquette, including call transfers and accurate message-taking Follow all cash handling and payment processing procedures Night Audit & Accounting Functions Reconcile daily transactions, accounts, and ledgers Balance cash drawer and record receipts accurately Investigate and resolve discrepancies or out-of-balance accounts Process invoices and maintain organized financial records Assist with audit preparation and reporting as needed Operations & Safety Maintain a clean, organized, and safe front desk and lobby area Prepare and replenish breakfast items in accordance with brand standards (if applicable) Document important information for incoming shifts in the communication log Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures Additional Duties Attend required meetings and training sessions Perform light cleaning to meet health and safety standards Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment Complete other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in hospitality preferred (ChoiceAdvantage experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks Basic math and accounting skills Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and work independently Work Requirements Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software Must be authorized to work in the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
