Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you'll be the vital link ensuring seamless overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic role combines meticulous financial and administrative duties with exceptional guest service, creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors. As a Night Auditor, you'll oversee the night shift, handle guest inquiries, and ensure all financial transactions are accurately completed, setting the tone for a positive guest experience and smooth hotel management during nighttime hours. Duties Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Reconcile daily revenue reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all accounts. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues that arise during the night shift. Manage front desk operations efficiently, including multi-line phone systems and guest communication channels. Enforce hotel emergency procedures promptly and professionally to ensure guest safety and security. Maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation for management review. Support guest relations by addressing special requests, providing local information, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere through excellent phone etiquette and client communication skills. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; resort experience is a plus. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or equivalent hotel management software. Strong customer service skills with problem-solving abilities to handle guest concerns effectively. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions across diverse populations. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond confidently during critical situations. Excellent communication skills via phone and in person, with an emphasis on professionalism and hospitality etiquette. Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high energy levels. From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per week
